In 1988, Founding Members – Pastor Manny and Lorraine Ribeiro started their journey as foster parents, over the years 285 children have been placed in their care.
Child Welfare approached them to establish a Childrens Home to take in more children in need.
In 2003 we had a home of four rooms, common area and a class room.
In 2012 we started developing the four wings which consists of 20 rooms, our play area, class room and Nest for our young adults.
Within 18 months, the family of 25, could move to Phase 1.
At the end of December 2015, the second phase was opened and occupied
In 2016, Siyabonga was granted Childrens Home status by the Department of Social Development. Children age 3 to 18 in our care and our young adults at the NEST.
